OVERVIEW
The project arose through an understanding of one clients investment criteria and awareness of a vendor with an asset that met those needs.
ROLE
We assisted the client by:

Introducing the seller and purchaser;

Liaising with the vendor to ensure that all information was provided to the potential purchaser;

Qualifying our client as a preferred purchaser for the vendor;

Managing the process to ensure timely completion of the exchange of contracts;

Establishing a settlement timetable to meet the needs of both parties;

Tendering the purchasers loan requirements;

Reviewing competing offers and recommending the best offer to the client; and
-
Assisting the client through the documentation and implementation process.
KEY CHALLENGES

Managing client relationships – Establishing ‘Chinese Walls’ within the team to ensure proper separation of seller and buyer along with full disclosure to both clients.
Establishing a basis of mutual trust between the buyer and the seller, such that our buyer was preferred to another competing offer.
